As an eco-friendly photographer, I don't "fly" for photos

I want you to understand this: your home, your local environment, is full of beauty waiting to be discovered. It’s about cultivating a closer connection to what’s already here, rather than chasing what's "out there."
Let me explain the link between a happy lifestyle and traveling photographers.
Here’s the thing about traveling photographers… They inspire people to subconsciously put more pressure on the environment. (Read it again. Or, better yet: print it, frame it, and put it beside the mirror.)
Take, for example, a lifestyle influencer who travels halfway across the globe to sell footage of their travels.
Even if they give people more admiration about our natural world, is their negative footprint worth the positive impact? Because, if we're being honest, planting a tree with every purchase is not going to cut it.
Case in point?
Maybe the “adventurous” lifestyle influencer creates good vibes for your home decor.
That photo on the wall does nothing except provide you with daily wanderlust to that exact spot because you cannot find it where you live.
For some, it's just a nice picture. Others might take 4 airplanes to get there. Does that mean that they are bad people?
Absolutely NOT!
But integrating a lifestyle you can stand behind is not just about buying nice things. If it were, no one would actually question the impact of their everyday choices.
Feelings like disappointment, guilt, loss, and sadness.....they all play a vital role in your ability to live the life you wish for.
Real, lasting change is about connection. It’s about being better than you were yesterday, not flying to another continent just to chase someone else’s idea of a happy lifestyle.
