Austrian landscape captured by a nature photographer

Daydreaming set of the start of this project

"Your child does not pay attention in class." A phrase my parents heard a number of times throughout the years I spent in primary school.

Although I was a good student, I couldn't help myself dosing off to other worlds created by my imagination. You'd think children like to fantasize about dragons and princesses but I didn't really.. My thoughts went to the great outdoors!

Living in the countryside there were many magical things to be discovered in the garden, neighboring fields or on the streets. Like oddly looking berries or the shell of a chestnut I could find when fall set in. What could I do with them, were they edible? Could I make paint or turn them into a soup? I surely was practicing witchcraft unknowingly.

I'm 30 years old now and I've started to rediscover the admiration I had for nature when I was a child. Just now I catch myself staring outside looking at a bunch of swallows flying around, totally in sync with the group heading into one direction. Amazing. There's so much to learn from nature's wonders.

I would love to go on my journey as a nature photographer with you by my side.

Let's start with taking a flight in daydreaming!
