Find the right match for your space with this deco-guide
If you're like us and you get easily snowed under with possibilities when decorating, choosing an artwork for your green hotel, sustainable office or vegan restaurant might be a bit of a challenge. Certainly if you want it to fit your business values and make your space whole.
4 checks to making the right choice
Here's some tips that'll set you up:
Use of natural light
First, think about where you want to hang the frame. Opt for a spot that gets natural light without it being in direct sunlight. You will avoid the need for excessive artificial lighting. This way, you'll save energy and create a visually appealing display.
Sizing and arrangement
You don't want a frame that takes up too much room, leaving less space for the artwork to "breathe". Find a frame that fits well and adds elegance without overwhelming the space.
Grouping multiple artworks together on a big wall can also make your display more interesting, reducing the need for additional wall decoration (and LED-lighting). Here we advise to stick to the same clean frame for all artworks if you go for a busy collage and vice versa.
Most importantly: The whole piece should be about two-thirds the size of the wall, sofa, headboard, or furniture piece under it. Because balance is key.
Sustainable materials
Our artworks are made of sustainable materials. If you choose the DIY-approach, we encourage you to recycle old frames or look for second-hand ones. This reduces the demand for new resources and helps the environment. In our full service option however, we do offer framed artworks where the frames are made of European pine trees.
Color matching
You'll find that pictures of nature fit very well in classical and modern interiors. So usually you're safe when having white, cream or beige walls.
Do you like to bring in more color? Our forest themed artworks blend well with blue, fuchsia and yellow toned interior. The seascapes will match more with purple, orange and green tones.
Tone on tone works very well too, a bright salmon red wall + a hazy dark sunset artwork = magic!
Grouping frames? Look for a common denominator color in the pictures to pair them.
The end-life of your artworks
In the very unlikely event that our artworks no longer fit your space; consider recycling them or repurposing them into something new. You can even swap artworks with other businesses or gift them to stakeholders or customers.
By giving our artworks a second life, you reduce waste and contribute to a circular economy. Contact us to discuss end-life options.

With these tips you can create a beautiful display which claims attention.
Let your place reflect your commitment to living sustainably with nature and inspire others to do the same.
